The Brief
Bristnall Hall Academy had a requirement for 22 additional car parking spaces in a secure environment, due to growing staffing numbers and a lack of parking on site. An area of land was identified within the school’s property accessed from the main road.
Hawker Construction were tasked with reducing the levels and rediverting the services in the area before forming the new tarmac car park with access road and line markings.
The Solution
A pedestrian crossing was required with tactile paving and drop kerbs. A new manual sliding security gate and lighting bollards were installed along with new CCTV and an access controlled pedestrian gate.
New fencing was installed around the perimeter and the areas were finished with landscaping and turf laid around. All works were completed on time and within budget.
